The receipt door. Every receipt wefetch issues lives here, and anyone can verify one. A receipt is the evidence that a product match was verified: the barcode, the country whose profile applied, the core and profile versions, when, the hashes of the record and the match, the result and its four readings, chained and signed. Verify, list and read statements in public; writing needs the issuer credential. A receipt is never revoked; a later one supersedes it.

rco-matchfetch-2026-11 for matches made on matchfetch; rco-gtinfetch-2026-11 for records checked on gtinfetch. Both are listed, with their status and since, on the keyring at rco-barcodeverified.org.
For auditors
A receipt proves that this issuer checked this barcode in this country at this time, under these rule versions, and that nothing in it has changed since it was signed. It does not prove the record is true, that the price or stock were right, or that the product reached the shopper. The four readings say how far to believe the result.
